Indian Society of Seed Technology, New Delhi is a registered professional society under registration number 4888 since 1971. The Society publishes a newsletter called “Seed Tech News” and Journal called “Seed Research” along with proceedings of symposia, books and other publications.

Seed Tech News

Seed Tech News is the official newsletter of the Indian Society of Seed Technology (ISST). It publishes news items related to Seed Science and Technology, along with the happenings of the society. It is published quarterly with four issues in each volume. It covers various awards and honours received by the ISST members, News items related to seeds, Scientific breakthroughs in seed science, upcoming events, proceedings of the meetings of the society, Brief recommendations of the seminar/ symposium/ conferences, significant research findings by the members of the ISST, technical articles, opinions, policy issues, useful information and any announcements by the society.

Seed Research

Seed Research is the official publication of the Indian Society of Seed Technology (ISST). It publishes original research papers in the field of Seed Science and Technology. This scientific publication is brought out in two issues per year, consisting of original papers and review articles in all areas of seed science and technology e.g. seed production, sampling, testing, enhancement, processing, physiology, entomology, pathology, storage, genetic conservation, habitat regeneration, seed business, plant variety protection, policy issues, etc. and allied fields since its inception in 1973.
